To those who have been bugging me to post some new pics, here you are. We dusted of our digital video/still shot camera & charged it up in preparation for Jackson's upcoming birthday. Tim & I feel so terrible for missing all the great footage we have of these too hilarious & busy boys. Here are a few things to update you with:
1. The boys sitting at the computer playing games on PBS.org, probably one of Jackson's favorite things to do. (like father, like son:) He graciously lets Jo watch at times, although sharing the office chair is not easy for either one. I can see the future fights over the computer starting. JT is a pro on the computer, I am sure he will be teaching me stuff in a few years. He loves to navigate through the site & find crazy sounds & games. I can't believe this is a almost 4 year old doing this. We didn't have a PC in the house until JR High! Oregon Trail & WW is Carmen San Diego were it on the games. Don't worry, we limit him to 1 hour per session, and he is maybe on it 3 times a week. He really has way too much energy for the computer at this age.
2. A little warm weather here was all Jo needed to strip down & whip out the hose! Those boys LOVE the water, dirt & even more, what they make when you combine them: mud! Our landscaping has taking a beating.
3. Jackson had PJ Day in his preschool class today. He is on the far right in the white doggie pj's that Aunt Jenny made for him (one of a kind!) and he is next to his bud, Zach in the red pj's. Next to Zach on the left is Josiah. He goes into Jackson's class & sits right down & knows the kids from different outings that Jo has gone on. He is the same size as all of them & talks with all of them, he would LOVE to be in there, but I told him that he has to wait until September to go to a class. He is so ready to go, more so that Jackson was. They are so different, Jo loves relationships, Jackson can live without them. He kinda liked PJ Day, but struggled with it, too. "Pj's are not what we wear to class, mom. That is for at home!" he complains. "I agree, buddy, but they are trying to make school fun & interesting so you will go, so let's play along." That is a lot of my conversation with JT. Trying to convince him why we should do stuff. Most of the time the answer is, "Because mom says!" JT is not fooled easily, he quickly analyzes most situations to point out what is right & wrong about it. Wow, he gets that from Tim & I. Pretty sad. Josiah is more of the happy-go-lucky guy in the family. We are happy to have his carefree attitude & silly ways. We all need it. They are so different and I am so glad for that. We love them both so much!
See you in another few months!
